Clinical psychologist Nigel Latta was a guest speaker at the wellness conference for which Paul Rangiwahia was MC.
More than 250 people attended the first wellness conference organized by the Taranaki Chamber of Commerce.
The event, held Thursday at the Devon Hotel, focused on mental, financial, physical / nutritional and general health and well-being at work.
Speakers included psychologist Nigel Latta, Be Pure founder Ben Warren, Tui Ora CEO and Chairman of the Commission on Mental Health and Wellness Hayden Wano, and Xero CEO Craig Hudson.
In parallel to the conference, was held Wellbeing Expo, with companies from the sector exhibiting products and services.
House spokesperson Michelle Brennan said, “With busy lifestyles, general health and wellness is often overlooked. The conference is specially designed to help people in the workplace fill their toolbox with tips, advice and plans that will help build resilience and find balance in this ever-changing world.
