Have a heart for live music and great shows this weekend! | News, Sports, Jobs

Here’s a list of live and online music events in the area for the weekend and week of Friday, February 11 through Thursday, February 17.

Successive Super Bowl Sunday and Valentine’s Day Monday this year set the stage for a weekend of Valentine’s Day dances and dinners with live music, plus live musical tie-ins with some Super Bowl-themed festivities.

For those used to their weekly dose of Felix & the Hurricanes on Sunday nights at the Black & Gold Tavern in Altoona, note that the Hurricanes are playing Black & Gold on Friday nights this weekend, so the venue may present a separate Super Bowl party on Sunday night.

So browse the list below to see who’s on stage this weekend and the week ahead, and show some love and “to have a heart” for local musicians – and have a great weekend!
